Privacy

This notice describes how the current AER website works. The public site is hosted on Vercel; a separate preview is hosted through Sites. AER receives project enquiries at [email protected], hosted by Zoho Mail.

Your project brief

The questionnaire runs in your browser and is not automatically saved in browser storage. Leaving or refreshing the page may discard unsent entries. When you choose Send brief, we transmit the details you provide — including your name, email address, project description, references, timeline and budget — to AER’s website over an encrypted connection.

Only when you explicitly change language, we place your answers and any delivery retry state in this tab’s session storage. The handoff is valid for up to two minutes; the next contact-page load removes it before restoring or rejecting it. If that page never loads, your browser may retain the expired entry until the tab closes, but it cannot be restored after expiry. This is not autosave, does not send your answers to a server, and does not put them in a URL. If storage is unavailable, you can stay here or explicitly discard your answers before switching. Once consumed, refreshing does not restore it.

Resend processes that submission solely to deliver it to AER at [email protected]. AER receives it in Zoho Mail to discuss and coordinate the enquiry. Resend’s handling is subject to its Privacy Policy.

Downloading prepares a text file for your device. Copying places the brief on your clipboard, where your device and other applications may be able to access it. Neither action sends your brief to the studio.

Music and video playback

Release artwork and decorative video are served with this site. A YouTube player and its playback API load only when you choose Listen or Watch. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode, but playback still connects your browser to Google/YouTube. Closing the player removes the embed and stops playback.

You can also open the original upload on YouTube. Google Privacy Policy

Site operation

Hosting providers may process technical information, such as network and request data, to serve and protect the site. The restricted Sites preview may also use sign-in and security cookies. Provider notices describe that processing.

Optional analytics and experience insights

On aerstudio.xyz, you can choose site analytics, experience insights, both, or neither. Both are off by default: we do not load these optional providers until you agree. Your choice does not affect access to our work or your ability to send a project brief. We do not use advertising pixels.

If you enable site analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, project links, portfolio playback and questionnaire progress. We count a submitted brief only after our mail provider accepts it. Analytics receives fixed step names, public portfolio identifiers and an allowlisted site language, not your name, email address, project answers, references, timeline or budget. We strip query strings and fragments from page addresses and reduce referral addresses to their website origin. User and event data retention is set to two months; aggregated reports may remain available longer. Google may process technical device and network information to provide this service. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

If you enable experience insights, Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and masked session recordings to help us find navigation and usability problems. The entire project questionnaire is masked, including its review, errors and confirmation, so its contents are excluded from recordings. We do not provide Clarity with a personal user identifier. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

These services may use cookies after consent and process data outside your country. Your preferences are stored locally for 180 days and shared across this site’s language versions; switching language does not extend their expiry. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change them at any time. Turning off an active service refreshes the page to unload it and removes its first-party analytics cookies; unsent questionnaire entries may be lost. Localhost, Vercel previews and restricted Sites previews do not load AER’s GA4 or Clarity tags.

Sensitive material

Please leave confidential recordings, passwords and other sensitive information out of your brief. Agree on a suitable sharing method and any confidentiality terms before sending unreleased material.
